Biodiversity
التنـــوع ألحيـــوي
The term ‘biodiversity’ refers to the diversity of forms of life on the planet in water, sky and land. The term is considered a measure of variation at the genetic level of different species in different ecosystems. It is also called ‘biological diversity’. The study proved the close link between rising temperatures and biodiversity - the proportions of biodiversity are greater in and around the equator and the tropics, which contain thousands of acres of tropical forests, which in turn contain about 90% of animal and plant species in the world.
